Shopaholic Poster

Here's a poster from the film I did in February- Confessions of a Shopaholic. It stars Isla Fisher and she is absolutely adorable in real life.

And I'm not gonna lie: I squealed with joy when I saw the poster in a local mall last night.
Here's a link to the trailer:

First Post

Welcome to my brand new blog.

I started this thing to track my life as an actress. I will chronicle auditions, callbacks, headshots, successes, failures, and anything else that comes my way.

First things first- let's get acquainted.

My name is Deb and I currently live in New Jersey. As stated previously, I am primarily an actress. I am also proficient in the piano and the trumpet, and dabble in cello and the guitar. I'm learning to write songs on guitar. When not playing music or acting, I write stories.

You can always find me in the kitchen. I love to create and bring meals to life. My biggest triumph has been lamb chops over a bed of mashed cauliflower with a side of green beans as an entree. The dessert is tied between poached pears in a simple syrup and homemade creme brulee.

I have found small bouts of success. Tonight was the airing of the episode of Gossip Girl I shot in November in Brooklyn. Other shows I've done include Damages, Z-Rock, and Without A Trace. I've done a few films, but I'll post more about those when it's closer to opening.

When not working in the entertainment field, I can be found at a luxory retail store. My boss and co-workers are good to me, and I am very happy with my job. They fully support my ambitions and I am very lucky to have them.

As far as acting goes, nothing too exciting is happening. I was completely overworked this weekend and today, so my plans of auditioning in New York tomorrow have been dashed. In their place is laundry (how exciting!) and working on new monologues. I found a bunch when I was cleaning out some old boxes and would like to revisit them.
